“Today we launch the Electronic Music Inclusion Initiative (EMII) in collaboration with Pioneer DJ, Beatport, Sentric Music Group, Mixmag, Resident Advisor, IMS, Women in CTRL and InChorus, to better understand and address harassment, bias and discrimination within the electronic music industry.
We are taking a data-led approach, encouraging anyone who has experienced harassment, bias or discrimination while working in the electronic music industry to take a moment to log details through the InChorus anonymous reporting tool.
This first step, to collect experiences over the next 4 weeks, is designed to provide new insights on the issues within our culture and inform the next steps we can collectively take as an industry to address them.
Please help us raise awareness of this initiative by sharing details as widely as possible. A social media asset can be downloaded here, or you can share AFEM posts: Facebook – Twitter –Instagram Thank you for your participation and support, together we will strive for real, pro-active change and greater inclusion.
